No — they serve different purposes. The optional maintenance agreement purchased with the machine (available in 36-month, 48-month, or 80-month tiers) is a scheduled planned maintenance contract covering regular service intervals over the agreement period. The Mobile Service is an on-demand on-site visit for repairs, diagnostics, and unplanned maintenance needs. Both can be used together: the maintenance agreement keeps the machine on schedule and prevents major issues, while the mobile service handles unexpected repairs between planned visits.
Yes. The mobile service specifically covers electrical and control system repairs, including wiring faults, sensor replacements, and CAN-bus diagnostics. MVP technicians are trained and equipped with the correct diagnostic tools for MVP telehandler electronic systems. This means common issues such as error codes for boom position sensors, joystick faults, or display system errors can be diagnosed and resolved on-site without needing to transport the machine to a workshop.
